Anime Review #2: Naruto

Twelve years before the start of the series, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konohagakure destroying much of the village and taking many lives. The leader of the village, the Fourth Hokage sacrificed his life to seal the Nine-Tails into a newborn, Naruto Uzumaki. Orphaned by the attack, Naruto was shunned by the villagers, who out of fear and anger, viewed him as the Nine-Tails itself. Though the Third Hokage outlawed speaking about anything related to the Nine-Tails, the children — taking their cues from their parents — inherited the same animosity towards Naruto. In his thirst to be acknowledged, Naruto vowed he would one day become the greatest Hokage the village had ever seen.

Review:
I have been obsessed over this anime since last spring, so Naruto has taken over my life for almost a year now. You could say its a good anime, but I will sprint over and shake you back and forth screaming that you are wrong and you disgrace your cow! Its very action packed, filled with young love, drama, and loads of flashbacks. The summary above talks only about Naruto, but there are obviously more characters. Therefore, I will tell you some in my own description. First there is Naruto's first friend and rival, Sasuke Uchiha (Uchiha Sasuke. His entire clan was killed by his elder brother, Itachi Uchiha (Uchiha Itachi), the reason for why will be revealed if you watch the show. Sasuke is now convinced that the only way to avenge his clan is to kill Itachi. Next is Sakura, Naruto's crush. She is one of Sasuke's many fangirls and does not have a dramatic or sad past as the others. Do you see the love triangle? Naruto-> Sakura-> Sasuke-> Sasuke (if you don't get the joke, it means Sasuke is in love with himself). There is one more character that you must know. His name is Kakashi Hatake (Hatake Kakashi). He is the teacher of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. His childhood would not be reveled until Naruto Shippuden, which is the second series of Naruto.

Anime Review #1: Kuroko no Basket

It is also sometimes called Kuroko no baske. The name translates to Kuroko's Basketball

The Generation of Miracles are a group of 5 basketball prodigies. They beat team after team in middle school, but when they all graduate to high school it all changes.

In the story, Kagami Taiga has just enrolled to Seirin High School where he meets Kuroko Tetsuya. Kuroko happens to be the "shadow" sixth member of the legendary Generation of Miracles basketball team in middle school, meaning no one knows he exist besides his teammates. Together, Kagami and Kuroko aim to take their team to the inter-high school championship -- against Kuroko's former teamates! There is a season 2 called Kuroko no Basket 2. So original right?

Review:

This is a very interesting anime. If you know me, you now how I'm not a sporty person... at all. It obviously is about basketball and I learned a lot about basketball through this anime, even though they pronounce them weird. It really is action packed, but not very adventure like. It's also funny because of Kuroko and Kagami's fights. Each character has their own personalities, but there are a lot of characters to remember, for example, Midorima Shintarō is obsessed with his Horoscope and luck because his 'power' is long shooting and he can shoot anywhere in the court, meaning he can shoot three-pointers anywhere in the court. Even I understand that is extremely difficult.
